HEAT
Dr. Judge is the Co-Founder of Boston Human Exploitation Advocacy Team (HEAT), a nonprofit organization that deploys an innovative approach of Street Psychology, combining peer advocacy and community education to support women trapped in cycles of addiction and the sex trade define their own recovery.
HEAT’s pioneering service model and community collaborations have been honored by the Commissioner of the Boston Police Department, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and an Anti-Trafficking Leadership Innovation and Sustainability (ATLIS) Fellowship from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office in Trafficking in Persons.
